Casa Nova – Your Retreat on Panarea
Casa Nova is a charming, traditional Aeolian house nestled in the hills of Panarea, offering a breathtaking view of the Stromboli volcano. Surrounded by olive trees and set within a nature reserve, it is a place of peace, seclusion, and authentic island character.
With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, two terraces, and a small garden, Casa Nova is the perfect refuge for those who appreciate simplicity and authenticity.
Architecture & Atmosphere
The house follows the classic Aeolian architectural style – simple, functional, and in harmony with nature. Casa Nova has been intentionally designed as a low-radiation accommodation and therefore does not have fixed Wi-Fi installed.
If you require internet access, you can easily use the local mobile network or activate an eSIM (for example, from Holafly). This allows for stable online work or streaming while preserving the natural and original charm of the house.
Location & Surroundings
Casa Nova enjoys a unique panoramic position with unobstructed views over the sea and towards Stromboli. The surrounding area is characterized by olive groves and untouched nature – ideal for guests seeking peace, privacy, and a connection to the natural environment.
The center of Panarea, with its restaurants, bars, and boutiques, is about a 25–30-minute walk away. The return route is uphill and requires a bit of fitness, but electric taxis are available as a comfortable alternative. Contact details for local taxi partners are provided in the guest handbook.
Access & Mobility
Panarea is a car-free island, which contributes to its unique charm and tranquility.
You can reach Casa Nova either on foot (approximately 25–30 minutes from the port, along a scenic path with sea views), or
by electric taxi, available at the port and in the village, also offering flexible transfers during your stay.
We recommend enjoying the walk during the day, as it passes through beautiful nature with stunning views. For arrivals with luggage or late evening returns, electric taxis are the more convenient choice.
Deposit & Services
Before arrival, a security deposit of €400 will be pre-authorized on your credit card. The amount will be automatically released no later than three days after departure.
Casa Nova is a self-catering accommodation. Final cleaning is included in the rate, and additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request for an extra fee.
Please note that Casa Nova is intentionally simple and nature-oriented – this simplicity is part of its charm and authenticity.
